Under Water Topography - Second lake Nova ScotiaSecond lake is located in Sackville Nova Scotia. It is an inner city lake surrounded by parkland and some housing.

Second lake is a well known lake in the area and boasts several large smallmouth bass taken every season. Although Smallmouth are primarily fished in Second lake it is also well stocked with Brook Trout with a stocking program that goes back over ten years.

Boats:

The beach at the end of Metropolitan Blvd is the only public access point. Access is down a steep road behind an unlocked s gate.

Second lake residents are attempting to make this lake non-motorized. This as a whole is always a good idea - especially for such a small lake. Canoes, float tubes and paddle boats are the easiest and most non-destructive.
