Nova Scotia Sportfishing Weekend - June 1 - June 2, 2002

On the weekend of June first and second, the lakes and rivers of Nova Scotia will be opened to any and all individuals wishing to enjoy a day or two of fishing in Nova Scotia.

During the Sportfishing Weekend residents DO NOT need to purchase a liscense. Regular angling rules do apply tho.

A number of special events and fishing derbies are planned throughout the province (see list below). This is the perfect time to try your hand at angling or to introduce children to the sport.
